Who we are

This website is operated by Madewell Exteriors, a roofing contractor based at 114 Sloan St, Suite 204, Roswell, GA 30075 (“Madewell Exteriors”, “we”, “us”). If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email Info@madewellexteriors.com or call (470) 307-1326.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a free inspection or contact us through the form on this website, we collect:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your ZIP code, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in your message

We also collect whatever you share with us when you call or email us directly.

Information collected automatically

• With each form submission, we record the page it was sent from, your IP address and your browser type. We use these to prevent spam and abuse of the form.
• Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is being filled in by a person rather than an automated program. To do this, Cloudflare processes information about your browser and device.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, the website that referred you, and your approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP address). Google Analytics only stores cookies on your device if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you do not, it runs in a limited mode that sets no cookies and does not recognize you from one page or visit to the next.
• Hosting. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your request, schedule inspections and provide estimates and roofing services
• send you an email confirming that we received your request
• contact you by phone, text or email about your request and project
• understand how our website is used so we can improve it
• protect our website and contact form against spam, fraud and abuse
• keep business records and meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request and your project. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying to let us know or by contacting us. We do not share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and this website:

• Service providers that process information on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting, the database that stores form submissions, and spam protection), Resend (delivering our emails) and Google (website analytics).
• Your insurance company, if you ask us to help with a storm damage claim.
• When required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of our business, in which case your information would be handled under this policy.

If you apply for financing through Wisetack, you do so on Wisetack’s own website, and Wisetack’s privacy policy applies to the information you give them.

Cookies and your choices

On your first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics only sets its cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) if you click “Accept”. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again on every page.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you switch analytics cookies off, Google Analytics stops using cookies and we delete the ones it set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Some pages show content from other companies, such as roofing information and warranty details from GAF. Those companies may collect information under their own privacy policies when that content loads.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions and related records for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services, and keep the business records we are required to keep. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics account.

How we protect information

Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing Info@madewellexteriors.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the law, and we will respond to requests as required. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as our Google reviews, Wisetack and GAF. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please review their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
