What we repair

Most leaks are not where the stain is

Water travels. A stain on a bedroom ceiling often starts several feet away at a flashing detail or a nail pop. Finding the real source is most of the job.

  • Leak detectionTracing water back to the actual entry point instead of patching the nearest suspicious spot.
  • Storm, wind & hail damageLifted or torn shingles, bruised granule loss and dented vents and flashing after a storm.
  • Missing or damaged shinglesMatched and replaced properly, sealed and fastened to the original spec.
  • Flashing & penetrationsChimneys, skylights, valleys, vents and pipe boots — where most roofs actually leak.
  • Gutters & drainageWater that cannot get away from the roof edge finds its way into the fascia and the wall.
  • Rotted decking & fasciaReplacing the wood underneath so the new shingles have something solid to hold.

After a storm

What to do before you call anyone

After a big storm, roofing trucks appear in neighbourhoods within hours. Take a breath — the roof is already damaged and a day will not change that.

  • Photograph anything visible from the ground, plus interior stains
  • Put a bucket under active drips and move what you can out of the way
  • Do not climb up to look — wet roofs and storm debris are how people get hurt
  • Do not sign anything a door-knocker hands you on the spot
  • Get a documented inspection before you decide whether to file a claim
Straight answers

Repair or replace?

We will tell you which one your roof actually needs. Sometimes that means talking you out of the bigger job.

A repair usually makes sense when

  • The roof still has years of service life left
  • Damage is isolated to one area or one detail
  • The decking underneath is sound
  • Shingles can still be matched reasonably
  • There is no widespread granule loss

Replacement is the honest answer when

  • The roof is at or past its expected lifespan
  • There are leaks in several separate places
  • Granule loss is widespread across slopes
  • The deck is soft, sagging or rotted in areas
  • Repairs would cost a meaningful share of a new roof

Questions

Roof repair FAQ

Call us and we will give you a realistic answer the same day. If water is actively coming in, that moves to the front of the queue and we will help you limit the damage in the meantime.

We get as close as the manufacturer and the age of your roof allow. Shingles fade over time, so a repair on an older roof will usually be visible up close even when the match is right.

That is your call, and it depends on the cause, your deductible and the size of the damage. We will document what we find so you can make the decision with real information rather than a guess.

No. The inspection and the written estimate are free, and there is no obligation. If your roof is fine, we will tell you that and leave you the photos.

Our workmanship warranty covers the repair. If water finds its way back through the same spot, we come back — that is the point of the warranty.
